Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC

Been a long while since I've last posted. Anyways.

So Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming on PC this November 5th was wondering if I should buy the Pre-order and
have those bonuses and perks off of that or wait until Steam releases it on December.

My 2 concerns is that,

1. I only have Dota on my Steam, so I don't technically know a lot about Steam.
Will I still be able to play Red Dead Online with my friends if they buy it on Steam and I buy it through Rockstar itself?
Most of my games are cracked and I play offline with it, so...

I don't know if it's true that there is only one platform on PC because any Rockstar's Online Game launches with Social Club,
regardless if where you buy the game (Steam, G2A, Rockstar, etc.). Can someone confirm it for me?

2. Recommended Specs for RDR2, especially the Graphics side of things.
It says GTX 1060 and higher, does that mean High to Ultra settings at 60FPS? If so I might be only able to play at Medium
if I want to attain that 60FPS. I'm going to endure that for sure until I got a new graphics card.

The GTX 1050 Ti has had me future proofed most games at 60FPS high settings for 2 years now, and I am guessing its
future proofing has expired since it released 2 yrs ago. Can suggest some graphics card where I could be ensured for another 2 to 3 years?
been thinking of GTX 1660 Ti, RTX 2060, Radeon RX580, Radeon RX5700/T.

Even if you get it on steam you should be able to still play it with your friends, yes.
Your gtx 1050ti should be able to run it too tbh, but if you want to upgrade then by all means go ahead.

I had a problem, I tried signing up on PayPal as it is what is the easiest method to buy the game from Rockstar itself.
Unfortunately, I don't have a valid government issued ID. That is one of the pre-requisites.
Guess I will have to wait for the Steam Version then, much more convenient but quite a wait until release.

Maybe I could watch other Youtube Tech Channels testing out different systems and specs while waiting.
That way, I'd have a better idea of what to expect with my current setup/rig and can plan ahead for
future upgrades.

So there have been early tests and benchmarks on Red Dead Redemption 2.

The 1050 ti seems to be very slow. Even at medium settings 1080p, it goes around 25-35FPS.
The 1660 ti runs fairly at 40-50FPS at high settings 1080p. Tuning up to Ultra, it comes around 25-35FPS.

This early, there aren't benchmarks on the RTX 2060/RX580/RX5700/RX5700XT yet. Hoping to see some better results.
I did not regret buying the game on the pre-order period, I'd have some time to see and watch Youtube Tech Channels testing
out different systems until Steam releases it on December and come up with a choice.
