my laptop is dying slowly and i got some money to spend.
I already bought a new 27" screen. It's resolution is 2560x1440 px, so the new pc should be able to run this resolution properly.

https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_car ... c0e1d73cdc

cpu: Intel Core i5 7600K
gpu: 8GB KFA2 GeForce GTX 1070
ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
cpu cooler: EKL Alpenföhn Brocken ECO Tower Kühler
case: Nanoxia Deep Silence 3
mainboard: MSI Z270-A PRO Intel Z270 So.1151 Dual
power: 500 Watt be quiet! System Power 8

HDD:
Samsung EVO 750 500GB (i already own that one)
WD BLACK 1TB (i already own that one)

notes/questions:
1. i do not want to OC.
2. Is the CPU good enough for the 1070 ?
3. make it as cheap as possible.
4. i want to buy a superfast M.2 ssd in the future, does the mainboard support that ?
5. There is the new USB 3.1, does the mainboard support that ?

i7 has little edge over i5 if you're not doing anything like video rendering or 3D modeling.

@Ns]One. Gaming doesn't really have to be CPU intensive. Content Creation however, needs it.

1. i do not want to OC.
Hmm overclocking will give u more performance or a lower price at same performance..

The combo you have chosen above includes a i5-7600K model, meaning that K - series processor is meant to be overclocked.

This also applies to the Z series motherboard.

At higher resolution (1440p) your bottleneck will move towards the 1070, so the i5-7600(or 7600k) should be fine for that.

To save money, buy the i5-7600 instead of i5-7600k, because you arent overclocking. You can also buy a H270 motherboard to save money at the expense of overclocking and some ports.

Also, unless you want better performance/quieter system, you dont need to buy an aftermarket cooler for chips u arent gonna overclock.

Yes it does.
1 M2 slot, 8 USB 3.1 slots in total.

Now onto saving money. If you really wanna go best bang for your buck, dont go Intel i5 anymore. i5 only have 4 cores 4 threads (no hyperthreading), and games usually take up 90% plus of your CPU usage. This means you cant do anything while gaming.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFffMS6m2vg Look at the CPU usage

Therefore, come to Ryzen 5 lineup. Cheaper while having more cores and threads (at a small cost of lower clock speed)

I recommend going 1400 / 1500X if you don't do multi threaded workload and just want gaming performance. If you wanna multitask better (or video editing) while gaming go for the 1600 / 1600X.

Motherboard wise, go for the B350 motherboard. It doesnt go overkill unlike X370 (I doubt you're gonna SLI/Crossfire), and it still allows overclocking in case you want to oc in the future.

Also, If you wanted to upgrade your CPU in the future, you can just buy a new CPU as the AM4 socket will be here for some time. Intel will move on from the LGA 1151 socket and you'll need to buy another new motherboard etc.

You can buy a CPU which can get overclocked and not overclock it,completely normal.

You can overclock it when you think its time for you to get better performance.

An i5-7600 and an i5-7600K have costs differences. To keep cost low, get the non-K.

You save some money, buy some drinks and waste them meanwhile you could buy the Overclocked version and use it when you think its time you need more power :)
